Open-AoE Dataset License

“Agreement” means the terms and conditions for use, reproduction, distribution,
and modification of the Dataset Materials set forth herein.

“Dataset Materials” means the files distributed in the Hugging Face / ModelScope
dataset repository `inclusionAI/OpenAoE-2000h`, including but not limited to
egocentric video (`raw_video.mp4`, undistorted video), calibration metadata
(`video_info.json`, `undistorted_video_info.json`), atomic-action annotations
(`ego_action_annotation.json`), camera trajectories, MANO-derived hand
reconstructions (`hands.npz`), and accompanying visualization assets in each
sample directory.

“Licensee” or “you” means the individual or legal entity accessing or using
the Dataset Materials.

By downloading, accessing, or using any portion of the Dataset Materials, you
agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. License grant

   You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license
   to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and create derivative works of the
   Dataset Materials for any purpose — including commercial research, model
   training, and product development — subject to the attribution requirements
   in Section 2.

2. Attribution (required)

   Any use, redistribution, or publication of the Dataset Materials or
   derivative works (including models trained on the data, derived labels,
   datasets, demos, or products) must clearly attribute the source as
   **Open-AoE** / **OpenAoE-2000h**, for example:

   - Dataset: `inclusionAI/OpenAoE-2000h` (Hugging Face / ModelScope)
   - Paper: Open-AoE: An Open Egocentric Manipulation Dataset and Toolchain
     for Embodied Learning — https://arxiv.org/abs/2607.14183

   You must not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the
   Licensor unless separately agreed in writing.

3. Redistribution

   If you redistribute Dataset Materials or substantial portions thereof, you
   must include a copy of this license and preserve attribution notices.

4. Third-party components

   MANO-derived files (`hands.npz`, `camera_traj.npz`, and related
   visualizations) are additionally subject to the MANO license
   (https://mano.is.tue.mpg.de/license.html). You may use video and
   atomic-action annotations without loading MANO-derived files.

5. Restrictions

   You must comply with applicable laws and regulations. You must not use the
   Dataset Materials for unlawful purposes or in ways that violate third-party
   rights, including privacy rights of data contributors.

6. Disclaimer

   THE DATASET MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND,
   EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING
   MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of liability

   IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT,
   INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR
   USE OF THE DATASET MATERIALS.

8. Relationship to source code

   Source code in the GitHub repository `ant-research/Open-AoE` is licensed
   separately (Apache License 2.0). That license does not apply to the Dataset
   Materials in this repository.
